Why should you deep clean carpets and furniture?

A thorough, deep clean of your workplace should include your carpets and upholstery. Deep cleaning helps to control the spread of infections and viruses and whilst you may not be able to see the bacteria building up within fabrics and carpets, they are there. What does it involve?

We use BISSELL Big Green Carpet Cleaning Machine and a Rotowash both of these machines out clean the leading rental carpet cleaner.

These cleaners agitate the fibres and then lift away deep-down dirt from your floors and furniture. We also use our specialist Crystaline Cleaner that is designed to rid your fabrics of germs, debris, bacteria and live virus particles. Not only does this process remove of debris and germs, it leaves your workplace smelling so fresh your team will think they are new!

How long does it take?

Well that depends on how big your office is and how many items you need cleaning, but an average office that is 60 square meters with two sofas and 15 fabric bottom chairs and 15 desks would take on average a team of 2 cleaners 2 and half hours to complete. We recommend that these cleans take place out of office hours and then our team can get to work without disturbing you or your customers. It is also then much easier for our team to move items so that we can clean as much of the floor space as possible. There is another way to perform a deep clean to rid the surfaces of germs, bacteria and viruses. We can use a method called ‘Fogging’ where a very fine smoke is released in each room and as it lands on the surfaces, the antibacterial properties kill bacteria and viruses on the objects we can’t reach with the professional cleaners.
